Confederate Railroad burst onto the scene in 1987, originating from Marietta, Georgia. Known for their electrifying country rock sound, the band was formed by Danny Shirley, Michael Lamb, Mark Dufresne, Chris McDaniel, Warren "Gates" Nichols, and Wayne Secrest. Starting their career as a backing band for David Allan Coe, Confederate Railroad quickly rose to fame with their self-titled debut album under Atlantic Records. Throughout the 1990s, they released a series of successful albums and over twenty singles that graced the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Despite a few lineup changes, the band's spirit and energy remain unshaken, with the current ensemble featuring Rusty Hendrix on lead guitar and Cody McCarver on keyboards. Their music continues to captivate audiences with a blend of nostalgia and innovation.
The Kentucky Headhunters bring a vibrant mix of rock, blues, and country to the stage, crafting an eclectic sound that has won them fans worldwide. Emerging from Edmonton, Kentucky, the band draws influence from classic rock icons like Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, alongside American blues legends. Their latest album, That’s A Fact, Jack, showcases their ability to blend dynamic guitar riffs with heartfelt lyrics, creating an experience that's both timeless and fresh. Dirty Grass Soul hails from the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County, North Carolina. Formed in 2011, this band brings a refreshing blend of country, bluegrass, and southern rock reminiscent of The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band. Led by Kevin Dedmon and Lance Watson, alongside Tommy Smith, Kris Dedmon, Glenn Miller, and Jared Miller, Dirty Grass Soul's sound is defined by its unique instrumentation, including fiddle, pedal steel guitar, and banjo. Their music, characterized by down-home lyrics and blazing instrumental breaks, has earned them a reputation as one of the Southeast's premier emerging Southern Rock/Alt. Country bands. Their newest project, Soul'd Out: Live from The Don Gibson Theatre, showcases their dynamic live performance and is a testament to their evolving artistry.
